What We Believe In

Our Core Values

Prevention Over Crisis

Having treated countless patients in crisis, Dr. Gohari knows which health patterns lead to emergency situations. She applies this critical care insight to identify and address risks before they become life-threatening conditions.

Time Over Efficiency

Your health concerns don't fit into 15-minute slots, so neither do our appointments. Dr. Gohari schedules adequate time to understand your complete story, answer all your questions, and develop comprehensive solutions together.

Relationships Over Transactions

Healthcare works best when built on genuine relationships, not rushed encounters with rotating providers. Dr. Gohari gets to know you as a whole person, remembering your health history, family situation, and personal goals.

Dignity Over Dismissal

Too many women—particularly Black and Brown women—have their symptoms dismissed or minimized by the healthcare system. Dr. Gohari believes your experiences and provides culturally competent care.

FAQ

Have questions?

We're always here to help and provide all the clarity and comfort you need.

  • Are bioidentical hormones safe?

Yes, bioidentical hormones are completely safe. Research has shown that there is no link between bioidentical hormones and breast cancer. The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) published a long-term study in 2017 showing no increased mortality from breast cancer in patients using bio HRTs over an 18-year period.

  • What is a concierge practice?

A concierge practice offers a more direct, relationship-focused experience for patients. You have enhanced access to your doctor, longer appointments, and highly individualized care in exchange for a membership fee.

You can benefit from same-day, weekend and virtual appointments, longer and unhurried visits, and convenient follow-up communication with Dr. Gohari. Her focus will be on prevention and wellness to promote long-term health.

  • Do you accept insurance?

We do accept many insurance options.

  • How much does membership cost?

The membership fee for concierge care is $225 per month. You can make payments monthly, bi-annually, or annually, at a schedule that suits your needs.

  • What if I need care after hours or on weekends?

Dr. Gohari is here for you. Concierge patients can make weekend appointments on Saturday between 8am and noon, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 6pm.

  • What are bioidentical hormones?

Bioidentical hormones are hormones that are chemically identical in structure to the ones your body produces naturally — such as estradiol, progesterone, and testosterone. Because they match your body's own hormones molecule for molecule, many women feel they're a natural fit for relieving menopausal symptoms.

One common misconception is that "bioidentical" means "compounded" or "custom-made." In reality, there are two types:

    • FDA-approved bioidentical hormones — standardized, commercially made products (like estradiol patches and micronized progesterone) that are rigorously tested for purity, dosing, and safety. These are the forms most major medical organizations recommend first.
    • Compounded bioidentical hormones — custom-mixed by a compounding pharmacy for an individual patient. These can be helpful in specific situations (for example, an allergy to an ingredient in an FDA-approved product), but they are not FDA-approved and aren't tested the same way.

During your consultation, we'll talk through which option makes the most sense for you, your symptoms, and your health history. Whatever we recommend, our goal is the same: safe, effective, personalized care that helps you feel like yourself again.
